Kyle Dillon Lipscomb, 19, of Reno, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 18, 2013.
Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled services for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21st, at the United Pentecostal Church with Rev. Robert Myre & Bro. Jordan Cunningham officiating. Burial will follow in Union Grove Cemetery.
Kyle, the son of James A. & Dorothy Sue Hensley Lipscomb, was born March 19, 1994, in Paris.
He graduated from North Lamar High School on June 8, 2013 and was a member of the United Pentecostal Church.
He was preceded in death by grandparents; Nora Hensley, and A.V. & Eris Lipscomb, a cousin, Rhett Lipscomb and an aunt, Carol Hensley Troop.
Survivors include his parents, Jim & Dot Lipscomb, two sisters, Tamara Lipscomb Smallwood & husband Phillip and Natalie Lipscomb Coco & husband Brad, nieces & nephews, Madelyn, Annabelle, Caroline and Elijah Smallwood and Ethan & Aubrey Coco, a grandfather, S. L. Hensley, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and a host of friends.

Anthony Wayne White, 63, of Paris, passed from this life Monday August 19, 2013 at his residence. A Memorial Service will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday August 21, 2013 in the chapel of Starrett Funeral Home, with Rev. Danny Nations officiating. Following cremation arrangements, Anthony will be scattered upon his beloved Red River, and will be buried among his family at Laurel Land Memorial Park, Dallas, Texas.
Anthony was born March 15, 1950 in Dallas County, a son of Marshall Bert and Ida Jane Foster Forshee. When his mother Ida married Terrell Carson White, Anthony was adopted and proudly bore the surname of White. Moving to Lamar County from the Dallas Metroplex in 2000, he found himself at home and making friends. He was an avid tennis player, and enjoyed movies and music. Anthony was known for his sense of humor and his concern for people. Among his greatest joys were his children and grandchild. Anthony knew the importance of “now” and did his best to live every moment to its fullest.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and by a brother, James White.
Surivivors include a daughter, Star Higginbotham, of Mansura, Louisiana; two sons, Robert White and Gregory White, both of Paris; a grandson, Cayden James White; numerous cousins, including Vicki and Kristena Campbell; a very special friend whom he considered a brother, Casey Smith, his wife Misty and son Tracy, of Blossom; and a special brother and friend Dennis Byer.
Named as honorary pallbearers are Dennis Byer and Matt Keller.

Magdalene Cope Phillips, 96, of Paris passed away Monday, August 19, 2013 in Stillhouse Rehabilitation and Healthcare.
She was born on December 30, 1916 in Lamar County a daughter of Charlie and Carrie Upchurch Cope. Mrs. Phillips was a nurse’s aide for many years at McCuistion Regional Hospital and was a member of the Paris Church of God. She was preceded in death by her husband Doyle Hively, son Thomas Hively and six brothers and sisters.
She is survived by a daughter Faye Helms of Humble; grandchildren Doyle Thomas Hively, Doylinda Hively and Russell Don Helms and multiple great grandchildren; brother Joe Cope.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Thursday in Meadowbrook Gardens with Rev. Rick Richardson officiating. Family will receive family and friends from 6:00 P.M. till 7:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home where online condolences may be sent by visiting www.fry-gibbs.com.
