Juanita “Nita” Kelley Stroup, 103, passed away Sunday August 25, 2013 at Dancing River Assisted Living Center in Grapevine. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday August 30, 2013 in the chapel of Starrett Funeral Home with Patrick Cannon officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Stroup was born November 5, 1909 in Coalgate, Oklahoma to Thomas E. and Mary P. Myers Kelley. She was a registered nurse, serving in both the former St. Joseph’s and Lamar County hospitals. Her favorite area to work and assist was in the surgery department. She was a school nurse in Paris and Lamar County for six years. In 1956 Nita retired from fulltime work. She then began her many travels around the globe and to several continents. A lover of golf, she enjoyed countless hours of the game, many enjoyed by she and her husband Vernon Stroup, before his passing.
Nita was preceded in death by her parents; her spouse of a lifetime Vernon; and four siblings.
In retirement years, she and Vernon found the energy to foster a family of three wonderful children, who were in their teens. These three, now adults with families, continue to celebrate Nita’s life and service, and are, by name, Steve Black, Vicky Black, and Suzie Holloman. Other loving survivors are her daughter, Donna Stroup Daniels Thompson and husband Howard T. Thompson, Jr.; four grandchildren, Jay Thomas Daniels, Julie Anne Stutz, Jeffrey Stroup Daniels, and John Harrison Daniels; two great-grandchildren, Joshua Daniels Stutz and Jacob Herman Stutz; a sister, Sarah Baughn, of Mission Viejo, California; and several nieces, nephews and their spouses.
Named to serve as pallbearers are Jay Daniels, Jeffrey Daniels, Steve Black, Paul McClain, Herschel McClain, and Dr. Jim Miles.

Charles Ray Greb, 79, of Paris, Texas, passed to the Lord Monday, August 26, 2013 in the care of family and friends. Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM, Friday, August 30, 2013 at the Gotebo Cemetery in Gotebo, Oklahoma with Rev. John William Hoenshell officiating. Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements. The family will receive friends immediately after the service at the First Baptist Church in Gotebo, Oklahoma.
Charles was born July 4, 1934 to Ralph Greb, Sr. and Ora V. Greb (nee Merchant). He grew up in Gotebo, attended Gotebo schools, graduating high school in 1953. Charles married Greta Ann Osmond on Christmas Day of 1952. He attended Cameron University in Lawton and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Shawnee. Well-known fact: Charles was a devout Christian. Little known fact: He was also an ordained minister. He received his Bachelor Degree and Master’s Degree from Southwestern State University, Weatherford. He taught school and served as Superintendent for Reed schools before starting a successful career as a nursing home owner/operator, later pursuing a variety of business interests including buying and running a small bank. Blessed with financial success, he and Greta quietly helped many people to get an education. He loved to read, the only time Charles would sit still. Charles always owned cattle, his only real vice.
Charles Greb was preceded in death by his wife and best friend, Greta Ann Greb (nee Osmond); one son, Ronald Ray Greb; his parents, Ralph Sr. and Ora V. Greb; his brother, Ralph Greb, Jr.; a young sister; his aunt, Ester Merchant; and a son-in-law, Donny C. Taylor. Charles is survived by three children, Larry Joe Greb, Jacquelyn Marie Greb Taylor, and Steven Lowell Greb and wife, Stacey Lynn Brown Greb; six grandchildren, John Robert Greb, Bentley Joe Greb, Jodie Lynn Greb, Olivia Ann Greb, Harold Lowell Greb, and George William Greb; his sister, Shirley Marshall; his daughters-in-law, Susan Shirley Greb, Gloria Gunter Greb and by relation Tina van Netten; and numerous nieces and nephews, family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America or the First Baptist Church of Gotebo, Oklahoma.
The Family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staffs of Platinum Home Health and Hospice, Visiting Angel’s, Springlake Assisted Living and Memory Care and the office of Dr. E.S. White, MD for their support in his final days.

Gregory Neal Anthony, 74, of Arthur City, passed away at his home, Wednesday, August 21, 2013, surrounded by his family. Services are scheduled for 10:00 am, Saturday, August 31, 2013, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Evan Butler officiating. Burial will be made in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm, Thursday, August 29, 2013, at the funeral home.
Neal was born July 19, 1939 in Paris, TX to Lewis Joseph Anthony and Faye Oldham Anthony. Neal proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy and it was during this time that he married Jerry Snow Wolfe in Memphis, TN on October 17, 1958, building over 54 years of family and memories.
Neal was a truck driver and farmer for several years, before receiving the call to the ministry. At age 32, he enrolled in the Preston Road School of Preaching and began preaching full time at age 34. He preached for 31 plus years, mostly out of state, before retiring. Neal was a faithful member of Blossom Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include, his wife; two sons, Phil Anthony & wife Kimberly of Princeton and Greg Anthony & wife Meg of Cle Elum, WA; one daughter, Donna Kyser & fiancé Rod of Appleton, WI; 14 grandchildren, Christopher, Jenessa, Cole, Garnet, Zach, Eli, Kandis, Jennifer, Jill, Deni, Bailey, Keven, Nick and Ben; one great-grandchild, Kember; one brother, Bobby Anthony & wife Brenda of Paris; one sister, Diane White & husband Roy of Longview, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Casket bearers will be Christopher Anthony, Cole Lowenstein, Eli Anthony, Zach Anthony, Kevin Kyser, Nick Kyser and Ben Kyser. The family requests memorials be made to Wounded Warriors.
