The Gypsy Motorcycle Club made a $500 donation to the New Hope Center of Paris over the weekend.

“New board member, Paris Police Officer Jimmy Womack, was instrumental in getting this donation for us,” New Hope Executive Director Gay Ballew said. “Thanks a million, Jimmy and to all the Gypsy’s!”

The New Hope Center is a transitional housing facility in Paris, Texas. They provide a warm and loving, comfortable home-like atmosphere, while preparing the homeless for self-sufficient living by addressing all their educational, vocational, spiritual and emotional needs in a safe residential setting. For more information about New Hope visit their website at www.NewHopeCenterParis.org or call (903) 783-0353

The facility is currently located at 777 Bonham Street, but they will soon be moving to their new facility at the intersection of 4th and Sherman Street, which was the former DHS building. They will be sharing the facility with the Paris/Lamar County Health Department, who has already moved in, and will also offer space for rent to the public.
