For the third year in a row, LMAO Comedy Club in Downtown Paris will ring in the New Year with their annual New Year’s Eve comedy show. This year there are two headliners that are LMAO favorites, Jason Russell and local Daryl Felsberg.
Jason Russell is a national touring headliner that opened for Patty Labelle and Martin Lawrence. Jason later was featured as a subject for a PBS Documentary called “Crossing The Line”, then later on FOX’s “Prison Break”.
Daryl Felsberg started doing stand up in 2000 and has worked with George Carlin, Tom Arnold, Jimmy Walker and countless others in nearly every state. Felsberg can be heard on XM Comedy and has been seen on NBC’s Last Comic Standing. When not on the road Daryl has called Paris home since 2009.
“Jason and I have worked all over the country together, and when I said I wanted to do a New Year’s Eve Show at home, there was no question, he was the guy.” Felsberg said. “We really work well together and yet really can push each other’s buttons for the sake of comedy.”
“Something we are going to debut, as an experiment, is he and I on the stage at the same time.”
Tickets are $40 and include food, champagne toast, a midnight countdown, party favors, and of
course, the show.
Doors open at 9 p.m., showtime is at 10 p.m. Tickets can be bought online at www.lmaotexas.com or by calling 903-785-LAFF.
