Rusty Taco, located in the Paris Towne Center, has officially closed as of last week. Owner, Earl Bethea, plans to bring a new restaurant to the location but has not disclosed what restaurant that will be yet.
According to a source, the new owners plan to bring a restaurant serving Texas food — not specifically tacos or burgers, but a variety.
A sign on the door that reads, “Rusty Taco is closed. New restaurant coming soon! Thank you Paris for your business! See you soon!”, informs visitors of the pending changes.
Although no reason for why Rusty Taco closed has been given, the establishment has changed owners a few times since its opening in 2013.
A complete remodel of the location is currently taking place for the new restaurant that is coming.
The current owners have not disclosed what the new name of the coming restaurant will be yet. Stay tuned to the Extra for any updates as they are made available.
