Calvary Chapel of Paris is hosting a human trafficking awareness event — The Voice of the Voiceless — on Friday, January 31, from 6:30-8:00 p.m.
January has been proclaimed as National Human Trafficking Awareness Month, and this is your chance to learn about the real epidemic that is considered modern day slavery, how to protect your family and how you can play a part in helping the many victims be set free.
The keynote speaker for the event is the director of the Restore Her organization, Jennifer Terry. Restore Her is the largest, long-term safe home for human trafficking victims in the nation, and Texas is the nation’s leading hub for human trafficking, so please attend and learn how we can all stand together to fight this problem.
Admission to the event is free and the public is welcome to attend.
