Despite the cold and wet weather, the 4th annual Ultimate Super Bowl Tailgate Party and Chili Showdown is taking place at Buffalo Joe’s today — which is the perfect kind of day for a hot bowl of chili.
For only $10 per ticket, it’s all-you-can-eat from 12-3 p.m. With fifteen teams preparing chili, there is plenty to go around, so get to Buffalo Joe’s, bring your friends and try some as you get ready for the big game tonight.
With the many award-winning chili teams, there’s no doubt that this will be a showdown, and the judges will have their work cut out for them. First, second and third place finishers will be awarded. The winners will be announced at 12:30 p.m.
Bundle up to stay warm and come out and support a great cause. The funds raised at the event will benefit the Rotary Club of Paris and the many area-wide community service projects that they do, such as the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards, the 4th of July Community Fireworks Show, Rotary Speech and Scholarship Contests, Third-Grade Dictionary Project and other local Rotary programs.
