The Archery Shooters Association’s eighth annual Brunton Southwest Shoot Out was held at the Love Civic Center over the weekend, bringing hundreds of professional and amateur archers from all over the country to the pro/am circuit event.
The event started Thursday with the Scottie Norrell Memorial Team Chamber Shoot and concluded on Sunday.
The ASA’s decision to hold the annual event in Paris is important as the Brunton Southwest Shoot Out attracts hundreds of attendees and competitors, resulting in a significant boost for the community’s economy. According to ASA officials, the shoot out will return in 2015 for its ninth time.
