Breaking News: Plane crashes south of Paris, killing all three aboard

A small plane crashed and burned Saturday morning near the Glory community south of Paris, killing all thee people aboard. Jerry Richey, manager of Cox Field Airport, said the plane landed at the airport on Friday and left Saturday morning. Law enforcement and emergency personnel were called to a plane crash in southern Lamar County, near Glory, about 9 miles south of Paris, on Saturday morning.

The reason the plane crashed is unknown at this time.  The aircraft was from Salt Lake City.

Officials say no one survived the crash. Reportedly three people were aboard. According to locals around Glory, the plane was engulfed in flames after it crashed.

The accident was reported to authorities at around 8:30 a.m. Saturday.

Jerry Richey, manager of Cox Field Airport in Paris, said the plane flew into Paris on Friday and departed on Saturday morning.
