FANNIN COUNTIES UNTIL 600 PM CDT…
At 515 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10
miles northeast of Ravenna, or 12 miles northeast of Bonham, moving
northeast at 30 mph.
Wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph will be possible with this storm.
This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northern Lamar and
northeastern Fannin Counties.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Seek
a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
