North Lamar High School junior, Maddi Jolley, made 2nd chair in the All-State Women’s Choir after competing at Area on January 12 at Texas A&M University in Commerce. She competed with others in Regions 3, 4, 21 and 25 from as far west as Richardson and Mesquite to Texarkana to Nacogdoches and Trinity in the southern part of Texas.
Maddi will represent Paris and Lamar County in San Antonio on Saturday, February 16 at the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) Convention at the All-State Concerts to be held in the Lila Cockrell Theater in the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center.
