Police arrest Aggravated Robbery suspect; More burglaries reported

Paris Police arrested a man on Monday after an investigation into a robbery at a Valero Convenience Store on Loop 286, reported on December 19.

Paris Police Car26-year-old Leshun Cantrell Patterson, of Paris, was arrested on a warrant for the Aggravated robbery.  It was reported to police at the time of the Robbery that the suspect had produced a knife and demanded money from the clerk, according to Paris PD Public Information Officer Curtis Garrett.

Also on Monday, January 21, officers responded to the 10 block of SE 19th St in reference to burglary of a business. It was reported to officers that unknown suspect(s) had forced their way into a warehouse inside a fenced area.  Numerous items were taken from the building.  This incident is under investigation.

There were a total six reported theft/burglary calls on Monday — one was a burglary of a business, one was a burglary of an automobile, and one was a theft of an automobile.

Paris Police were summoned to 70 calls for service on Monday, January 21, 2013.  Including a ‘Shots Fired’ call outside of Club Ice (Click to read more).
