Allen Lee Jumper, 84, of Paris, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012, at his home.
Services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15th, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Bro. Patrick Cannon officiating. Burial will follow in Providence Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 – 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Jumper, the son of Victor Hugo & Minnie Lee Burnett Jumper, was born Sept. 25, 1928, in Lamar County.
He worked at B & W for seven years prior to beginning a career as a dairyman that spanned fifty years. He was a member of Lamar Avenue Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Victor Amos Jumper and a sister, Elsie Jumper.
Survivors include his wife, Florice Gibson Jumper, whom he married on Sept. 28, 1949, building 63 years of family and memories, two sons, Jerron Jumper & Stacey Jumper both of Paris, grandchildren, Ronnie Jumper & wife Sharmin of Allen, Jeremy Jumper & wife Heather of Paris, Amanda Sims & husband Jamey of Paris and Leah Jumper of Paris, great grandchildren, Ryan Jumper, Nickolas Sims, Destinee Jones, Erika Sims, Ethan Sims, Robyn Cooke, Callie Jumper, Izabella Jumper & Damon Hebner along with a host of friends.
Casket bearers will be: Ronnie Jumper, Jeremy Jumper, Jamey Sims, James Boyd Gibson, Jimmy Darnell & Cleve Fendley.
