Harry D. Wilson 20001Harry Dean Wilson, 86, of Pattonville, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013, surrounded by his loving family.

Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Friday, Feb. 8th, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Rev. Curtis Blake officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 – 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

He was born Dec. 8, 1926, in Deport, the son of James Alva & Dora Lessie Pomroy Wilson. He attended Craig School & Deport High School and graduated from Paris Junior College as a watchmaker and jewelry repairman. He served in the U. S. Army following World War II.  He worked for House Jewelry Store and at Babcock Wilcox, until in 1955, he moved to the family farm, which his family had moved to  when he was 5 years old, to be a farmer & rancher the rest of his life. Until illness caused him to retire, he stayed active on the farm until his death. He was named Farmer of the Year in 1978, for his love of the land.

He is preceded in death by his parents, two sons, Larry Wilson and Jerry Wilson, and five brothers, Earl, Austin, Harold, James and D. L. Wilson.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Johnson Wilson, whom he married in Oct of 1948, building 64 years of family and memories, a son, Terry Wilson, daughters-in-law, Faith Shaffer & husband Craig and Patti Wilson, grandchildren, Kimberly Blake & husband  Curtis Blake, Steven Wilson, Jeremy Wilson, Natalie Wilson, & Matthew Wilson, great granddaughters, Savannah & Mallory Blake, one sister, Mrs. Bryan (Lois) Scott, four sisters-in-law, Mrs. Austin (Jean) Wilson, Mrs. James (Maurice) Wilson,  Mrs. James (Dorothy) Holt & Mrs. D. L. (Francis) Wilson , a number of nieces & nephews along with  his 4-legged buddies, Scooter & Thomasina.

Casket bearers will be: Steven Wilson, Jeremy Wilson, Tim Parks, Johnny Holt, Jay Wilson and Don Denison.

James Russell Stuart, 84 of Paris, passed away Wednesday, February 06, 2013 at Legends Healthcare Center.

Funeral Services have been set for Friday, February 8, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home with Gary Norman officiating.  Interment will follow at Union Grove Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 7:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

He served in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict.  Military honors will be provided at the graveside by the United States Navy.

He is survived by his son, Todd Stuart; foster son, Terry Cox; grandson, Jeremy Stuart; sisters, Kathryn Collier, Myrtis Lemmon.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Louise Stuart; son, Michael Stuart; parents Artice and Mary Allie Stuart; brothers, Raymond and Clyde Stuart.


Cecelia Marie Hutson, 87 of Paris, passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at her home.

A graveside service has been scheduled for Friday, February 8, 2013 at Meadowbrook Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Mike Shupp officiating.  The family will receive friends on Friday from 12:30 to 1:30 P.M. at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Hutson Weddle and husband Bob; grandchildren, Jonathan Weddle and wife Andrea, Laura Weddle, Wyndy Huffman and husband Sean, Brad Weddle and wife Shirley; great-grandchildren, Madeline Claire Weddle, Matthew Weddle, Dylan Huffman and Zachary Huffman; sisters, Alice Hrehocik and Audry Mamrak; brothers, Raymond Lucot and Jerome Lucot.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Ray Hutson; parents, James and Rose Lucot; sisters, Rose F. Lucot, Florence Evanchak; brothers, Joseph Lucot, Ernest Lucot and Regis Lucot.
