
Everett second graders learn values instilled by martial arts help overcome bullying by boosting confidence.
North Lamar second graders at Everett Elementary joined local martial arts instructor, Clayton Watkins, for a fun filled activity during their physical education class. The students learned that not only can martial arts be fun and competitive; it can enhance their confidence, self esteem, fitness, and discipline which all help to overcome bullying. Everett PE instructor is Rozann Dawson.
