Barker-PNTaylor Paul Barker, 30, of Arthur City, passed away Friday, March 22, 2013.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Chicota Baptist Church with Rev. Rocky Burrow officiating.

He was born in Amarillo, Texas on December 18, 1982.  He was a welder/mechanic and loved drag racing and his best friend his dog, Molly.  He was always the center of attention and loved to make people laugh.

He is survived by the love of his life, Amanda Burgin; mother, Deborah Frigo of Powderly; father, Danny Barker and wife Jackie of Amarillo; sisters, Melanie Sanchez and children, Mariah, Marcus and Olivia, Randi Danielle Barker, Hope Pierce Aguilera, Destiny Thompson; brother, Dominick Frigo and son Allen Michael; grandparents, Ronald and Pat Killingsworth, Lanell Bell, Bud Barker; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mildred Fern Camp.


risPNGloria Mae Mitchell Risinger, 69, of Paris, died at 11:45 AM, Sunday, March 24, 2013 at her home.  Funeral services are set for 10:00 AM, Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at Immanuel Baptist Church with Rev. Don Shovan officiating.  Burial, along with the ashes of her late husband, will follow at Union Grove Cemetery in Reno.  The family will receive friends from 7:00-8:00 PM Tuesday evening at the funeral home.  Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.

Gloria was born September 11, 1943 in Tennessee Ridge, Tennessee to Horace and Aurelia Lewis Mitchell.  She graduated from Tennessee Ridge High School in 1961 and attended Paris Junior College.  She served as a Wave in the United States Navy from 1961-1963.  She married Jackie Steve Risinger on April 22, 1962.  He died May 24, 2007.  Mrs. Risinger was a sales associate for Walmart for several years.  She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, the National Guard, and the Children’s Miracle Network.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Mays Home Health and Hospice and Dr. E.S. White for the wonderful care they extended to Gloria during her final days on this earth.

She is survived by two children, Christopher Michael Risinger and Kelly Draper and her husband, Deryl; four grandchildren, Stonar Marshal McKinney, Steven Asa McKinney, Samuel Jay McKinney, and Vincent Draper; two sisters, Martha McCall and Becky Barrella; sisters-in-law, Tonya Mitchell, Beverly Coleman and husband, Glen, and Phyllis Huggins and husband, Mickey; a brother-in-law, Larry Risinger and wife, Dianne; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by one son, Neil Wayne Risinger in 1984; her parents and two brothers, Wayne and Timothy Mitchell.

Pallbearers will be Mickey Huggins, Glen Coleman, Jason Huggins, Scotty Coleman, Dale Hunold, and Chris Grooms.  Honorary pallbearers are Larry Risinger, Kenny Greer, and Sammy Chessire.
