Happy Easter from the eParis Extra! Springtime and April have arrived.
The Easter holiday came and went, as many Paris citizens enjoyed church gatherings, family fellowship, Easter egg hunts and a break from work to give thanks. The Extra! hopes that everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend, as we all prepare for the coming workweek.
Although there were some storms that came through our region on Friday and early Sunday morning, the weather was nice for this year’s Easter holiday, as high temperatures in the seventies led the way to a sunny day on Sunday.
The Weather Channel’s online site, www.weather.com, predicts that Monday’s high will be 77 degrees Fahrenheit, with a low of 54, but also predicts a cold front approaching on Tuesday, bringing scattered thunderstorms and high temperatures of just above 50 for the rest of the week. It will likely warm up again on Friday with a high of 71 predicted.
Keep an eye on the Extra! for all your local weather updates. We will also be beginning our ‘Severe Storm Stalker’ column on Tuesday, memorializing the 31st anniversary of the April 2, 1982 Paris Tornado.
