stonePNHazel Carlee Stone, 94, of Dallas, formerly of Paris, died at 7:03 PM, Monday, April 8, 2013 at Signature Pointe on The Lake Assisted Living Center in Dallas.  Funeral services are set for 2:00 PM, Friday, April 12, 2013 in the chapel of Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home with Rev. Randall Scott officiating.  Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until service time prior to the service at the funeral home.  Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Stone was born February 22, 1919 in Paris to Lewis E. and Vie Frederick Reed.  She graduated from Paris High School and married Edgar Stone on December 23, 1939 in Paris.  He died September 7, 1996.  Mrs. Stone was a longtime member of Immanuel Baptist Church.

Mrs. Stone is survived by her daughter, Betty Stone Hooker and husband, David of Dallas; two grandchildren, Suzanne Hooker Outram and husband, Robert of Scotland and their daughter, Isla; and Kristopher Stone Hooker and wife, Susana Gomez Hooker of Austin and their daughter, Sophia; one sister, Prentice Jumper of Waco; and three sisters-in-law, Mrs. Jan Reed and Mrs. Aileen Stone of Paris, and Mrs. Marjorie Stone of Wadsworth, Ohio.  She was preceded in death by three siblings, Boyce Reed, Troy Reed, and Pauline Darnell.

Grace Mae Wyatt Foreman, 96, of Powderly passed away Sunday, April 7, 2013 at The Heritage House.

Mrs. Foreman was born on January 25, 1917 in Paris a daughter of George Wyatt, Jr. and Neoma Nokes Wyatt. She married Carl Franklin Foreman on March 25, 1936 in Paris, Texas. She retired from Campbell Soup in 1983. She was an active member of the PowderlyUnitedMethodistChurch, the Friendship Home Demonstration Club, and was a long-time volunteer at McCuistionRegionalMedicalCenter until she was 90. She was recognized for her accomplishments in LamarCounty and was named grand champion of the Red River Valley Fair in horticulture for a eucalyptus tree she had grown. Mrs. Foreman loved gardening and traveling with her daughters.

She was preceded in death by her husband Carl Franklin Foreman on March 19, 1992, by two sons George Foreman and Randy Foreman, and her parents.

Mrs. Foreman is survived by daughters, Joretta Stephens of Powderly, Carole Gean McGee and husband Thomas  of Powderly, Grace Ann McLeroy of Garland; grandchildren Rusty Stephens, David Stephens, Ruthie Lencho, John McGee, Susan Brooks, Laura Slagle, Rachel McLeroy, Derek Foreman, and Shannon Adams, 10 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren; brother Charles Wyatt; sisters Jeanette Nash, Wananda Gibson, Florence Buchalla, Sue Duncan, Mary Sorci, Katherine Perrone.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, April 11, 2013 in the chapel of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Hutchison officiating. Burial will follow in the LongCemetery with David Stephens, Rusty Stephens, Derek Foreman, John McGee, Joel McGee, Jason McGee, and Steven Adams serving as pallbearers.
