North Lamar Independent School District is promoting health-related fitness and active lifestyles for students and their families with the Annual Skip, Jump and Run Activities Days. North Lamar elementary campuses are holding their own events for students, parents, grandparents, and friends to promote a healthy lifestyle through physical activity.
Higgins Elementary activity day is on Wednesday, May 1 during PE classes. Everett Elementary will have theirs on Friday, May 3 at 9:00 a.m. at the baseball parking lot.
Bailey Intermediate School completed their physical fitness activity day on April 19 with students and parents walking around the football track. Students at Aaron Parker, Higgins, Everett, and Bailey who meet their goal in collecting money in support of North Lamar’s PE programs and the North Lamar Children’s Fund will be rewarded with special activities on their respective campuses.
