The Leadership Lamar County class of 2012-2013 will host the 4th annual ‘Dancing With the Stars’ event on Saturday, June 15, at the Love Civic Center for the benefit of the Red River Valley Down Syndrome Society.
With a 1920′s, Great Gatsby theme for the night, this year’s event is titled A Starry Night in Paris…Save the Last Dance.
There will be a bar with alcoholic refreshments that will open at 6pm, followed by a gourmet dinner at 7pm. There will be both a silent and live auction, with the Dancing with the Stars starting at 8pm.
Tickets are $75 each, $750 for a table of ten, or $600 for a table of eight. There are VIP seats available that allow you to sit in the second row of tables closest to the stage — closer than general admission. The VIP tickets are $1000 for a table of 8-10.
Our Paris Celebrity Dancers this year are Tom Caldwell, LaJuana Eckel, Cayton Flippen, LaWanda Knight-Ladell, Tray Turner and Michelle Wall. They will each be paired up with a professional dancer from the surrounding region for one night of highly competitive and fun dancing entertainment.
There are many great sponsorship opportunities for businesses, as well as advertising placement in this year’s Dancing With the Stars Program to be passed out at the event.

- Great Gatsby — $5000 — 2 Tables; Full Page Ad in Program; Business Recognition on Big Screen at the Event; ‘Thank You’ Acknowledgment Ad Following the Event; Name Listed in the Program as a Big Event Sponsor; Table Sign Recognition
- Charleston — $3000 — 10 Tickets (Full Table); Full Page Ad in Program; Recognition as a Dancer’s Sponsor; Business Recognition on Big Screen at the Event; Table Sign Recognition
- Foxtrot — $2000 — 8 Tickets to Event; Sponsors named as the Dancers Enter the Dance Floor; 1/2 Page Ad in Program
