On Tuesday, May 7th, at 6:30pm, the Reno Police Department will host a city wide Neighborhood Watch meeting at Reno City Hall Council Chambers. The meeting is open to all City of Reno residents interested in forming a watch group in their respective neighborhood.
Neighborhood Watch is a crime prevention program that gets residents involved in watching out for the neighbors and generally being more aware of the potential for crime, and in turn, taking measures to prevent crime from happening.
Residents attending will be informed on how to form a watch group, how to prevent crime, how to be a witness, and so on.
If anyone has any questions about the meeting, they can contact the Chief of Police Matt Birch at 903-785-1744, or by email at matt@renotexas.us.
