Two student leaders from North Lamar High School will join community business leaders to access the knowledge and experience of world-renowned leaders by attending Chick-fil-A® Leadercast® on May 10 at East Paris Baptist Church in Paris.
Seniors Amber Lee and Jessica Roberts will attend a one-day leader development event broadcast LIVE from Atlanta, Georgia. Hundreds of sites throughout the nation will be airing the program including Paris. Hosted by Leadership Lamar County, the event will include two student leaders from each of the Lamar County school districts.
“Ten tickets have been donated to all host sites from Ausbury University,” said Brian Figley, local organizer of the Leadercast in Paris. “These tickets are meant to be given to students at local schools in an effort to reach out to young leaders of the community. With the ten tickets and five school districts, two tickets are being rewarded to each school.”
Among the 11 speakers for this year’s event include:
