Eula Elaine Tribble, 86, of Tigertown, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, at 7:30 PM, Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at Paris Regional Medical Center. Funeral services are set for 2:00 PM, Sunday, May 26, 2013, at the Cottonwood Church of God, 3 miles east of Tigertown, with Pastor Gordon Barnes officiating. Burial will follow in Tigertown Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Saturday evening at the funeral home. Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
Elaine was born March 2, 1927, in Wink, Texas to Guy Milo and Myrtle Treasure Carroll Decker. She graduated from high school and married Lonnie Eldridge Tribble on June 20, 1945, in Paris. He died December 30, 1996. She was a homemaker and member of Cottonwood Church of God.
Mrs. Tribble is survived by a son, Ronny Nick Tribble and wife, Pam; son-in-law, Larry Cope; daughter-in-law, Carrie Tribble; five grandchildren, Shelley Cope, Michael Tribble, Deeanna Cope, Larry Kyle Tribble, and Joshua Tribble; five great-grandchildren, Gavin, Eliza, Gabriel, Logan, and Aiden Tribble; and one sister, Darlen Dollins. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Madeline Cope; one son, Glen Tribble; two grandchildren, Rebecca Cope and Christina Tribble; and three siblings, Clifford Decker, Doris Ray Decker, and Lillian Brown.
Pallbearers will be Bobby McQueen, Lynn McQueen, Larry McQueen, Gene Partridge, Paul Blackshear, and Paul Puckett. Honorary pallbearers are Mrs. Tribble’s nephews and Junior Blackshear.

Julius Wendell “J.W.” Larkin, 96, of Paris, Texas was peacefully escorted by angels into the comfort of God’s abiding arms at the break of dawn on Thursday, May 23 of 2013 at Brentwood Terrace Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center with family beside him.
He was born on June 2, 1916 in Delta County around the little town of Race Track near Cooper, Texas to William Columbus “Lum” Larkin and Audie Lee (Reynolds) Larkin. It was there he spent most of his life until moving to Paris around 1961. He enjoyed family, farming, and ranching and was a member of the Paris Church of God and Canaanland Church of God. He was a devoted family man with a love for children, a kind heart and a respect for others.
In 1939, he married Odie Marie Boyd, also of Delta County, who preceded him in death in 2004. Together, their love of family continued with their legacy of nine children over a span of 63 blessed years of marriage.
Also preceding him in death were his sisters Lorraine Williams, Annice Latham, Flora Swanson, Melva Knudsen, and Ronnie Herold; his brothers Tom, E.C. “Bill”, and Elmer Larkin; his sons Chris, Marcel, and Wendell Larkin; and a daughter Charlotte Kay Larkin.
He is survived by 2 sisters: Jonnie Clifford and Iris “Joey” Lowry; sister-in-lax Mack Larkin; 3 daughters: Sandra Gaston, Carol Conditt, and Sheryl Larkin-Wood and her husband Bill Wood, Jr.; 2 sons: Paul Larkin and Bruce William Larkin; 16 grandchildren: Barry J. Hensley, Tammy Rose, Susan Larkin, Paul Larkin, Jr. and wife, Kera, Paula Kay Larkin, Lori Welsh, Chad Rowe, Clint Conditt, Jennifer Larkin, Nikki Larkin, Kimberly McCann, B.J. Larkin, Justin Larkin and wife, Alicia, Chelsea Larkin, William Julius Wood, and Aaron J. Wood; several great-grandchildren, a great-great grandchild, and numerous other relatives.
Funeral services will be held at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home in Paris, Texas on Saturday, May 25 at 3:00 P.M. with visitation on Friday, May 24 from 6:00 – 7:30 P.M.
Burial to follow at Ben Franklin: Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Chad Rowe, Clint Conditt, Paul Larkin, Jr., B.J. Larkin, Justin Larkin, and William Wood.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Scottish Rite Hospital for Children.
