Walburga Katrina Hoefl Doyal, 81, of Paris, died at 12:55 PM, Thursday, June 6, 2013 at her home. She will be missed by all who knew her. A Rosary will be held on Sunday, June 9, 2013 at 6:00 PM in the chapel of Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted on Monday, June 10, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church with Father Morgan White as celebrant. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
“Wally” was born on April 1, 1932 in Freising, Germany. She passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends. She met J.C. Doyal, the love of her life in Freising in 1953. They were wed in Freising and returned to Paris to raise a family. She was a devoted mother and homemaker. She was also known for cooking wonderful German meals and being a great entertainer.
Wally is survived by her loving husband J.C. Doyal and her three children: daughter Sylvia Day and her husband Donald, son Jessie Doyal and his wife Deborah, and daughter Karola Buffington and her husband Tony, as well as two grandchildren Jerod Wayne Day and Melanie Day-Kiesler and one great grandson Weston Kiesler. She is also survived by her brother Peter and sisters Lindi, Lori, Karen, Rita and Urane along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death are her parents Johaan and Walburga Hoefl and her brothers Hans, Earnest, William and Klaus.

C.L. Goble, Jr., 93, formerly of the East Post Oak Community, went peacefully to his celestial home on Friday afternoon, June 7, 2013. Funeral services are set for 2:00 PM, Tuesday, June 11, 2013 in the chapel of Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home with Bro. Henry Blackmon officiating. Burial will follow in the East Post Oak Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00-8:00 PM, Monday evening at the funeral home. Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
He was born in Memphis, Texas on March 13, 1920 to C.L. and Minnie Evans Goble, Sr. He graduated from high school in Paducah, Texas and attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock. He farmed and ran a dairy north of Lubbock before moving to East Texas in 1963. He was a rancher and raised and trained cattle dogs in the Blossom and East Post Oak areas where he lived. He was a member of the Blossom United Methodist Church and the Blossom Kiwanis Club.
C.L. is survived by his wife, Arvana Goble of Paris; sons, Gary Goble and John Goble of Lubbock and Lynn Goble of Abernathy; step-son, Ken Toler of Dallas; and step-daughter, Debra Newby of Paris. He is also survived by grandchildren, John Goble and Mary Goble of Abernathy, Mark White of North Liberty, Iowa, Robert White of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Justin Toler of Spring Valley, California, and Ashley Toler of Greenville, Texas.
