A Paris woman was arrested on Monday after being found with a large amount of prescription pain medication that was not prescribed to her, according to Paris PD Public Information Officer Curtis Garrett.
At about 4:14pm on Monday, June 10, Paris Police made contact with 48-year-old Ann Marie Odell, of Powderly, in the 3000 block of Clarksville Street, due to an investigation where Odell was suspected of selling narcotics.
Odell was found to be in possession of 180 Hydrocodone tablets and 120 Oxycodone tablets, none of which were written to her by a doctor.
According to Garrett, the tablets have an estimated street value of over $2,500.
Odell was transported to and booked at Police Department, then later transferred to the Lamar County Jail.
On Monday, June 10, Paris Police arrested 4 persons, while responding to 113 calls for service on June 10, 2013. – one was arrested on the above charges, one on a parole violation warrant, one on a motion to revoke probation and one on a class c misdemeanor.
