Ruby Marie Parker, 72, of Pattonville passed away Sunday, December 30, 2012 at Paris Regional Medical Center.
She was born on January 19, 1940 in Black Springs, Arkansas a daughter of W.A. and Rosa Lee Bobo Ferguson. She was a member of Abundant Life Church at Minter and was retired from the Rockwall Independent School District. On January 19, 1963 she married Billy Parker in Paris, Texas.
Mrs. Parker is survived by her husband Billy Parker of the home; son Gary Lee Parker of Paris; brothers Wayne Dwight Ferguson of Paris and Charles Ray Ferguson and wife Mary of Paris; sister Dolores Eudy of Paris; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 2, 2013 in the chapel of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home with Rev. Donnie Sherrill officiating. Burial will be at a later date in the Shady Grove Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. till 7:00 P.M. Charles Ruben “Charlie” Brown, 82, of Blossom, died Thursday, December 26, 2012 at his home. A graveside service is set for 11:00 AM, Monday, December 31, 2012 at Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. Glenn Crosthwait, son-in-law officiating. No formal visitation hour will be observed. Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
Charlie was born February 3, 1930 in Paris to Cletus Virgil and Mae Alberta Yates Brown. He married Rosie May Pearce on April 22, 1954 and she preceded him in death January 26, 1986. He proudly served in the US Army during the Korean War. Mr. Brown was a life-long Baptist and had served as a deacon.
He is survived by his daughter, Katharine Maye Crosthwait and husband, Glenn of Atlanta, Georgia; two granddaughters, Dr. Sara Elizabeth Oliver and husband, Alan of Birmingham, Alabama and Anna Katharine Crosthwait of Atlanta; two great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Grace and Caleb Alan Oliver of Atlanta; one brother, Jackie Brown and wife, LaJoyce of Waxahachie, Texas; and numerous extended family members.

Erma Lee Donham, 80, of Paris, passed away Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012, at Medical Center of McKinney.
Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 30th, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Rev. Mona Millard officiating. Burial will follow in Restland Cemetery at Roxton.
Erma, the daughter of Henry & Josie Vick Donham, was born March 23, 1932, in Roxton. In 1949, she graduated from Roxton High School. She was a member of the Roxton United Methodist Church. Her retirement came after many years of service at Hollywood Vasarette & then with Munsingwear after they bought Vasarette.
She was a volunteer for fifteen years at Paris Regional Medical Center North Campus.
Her parents and a brother, Thomas Donham, preceded her in death.
Survivors include a brother, Troy Donham of Paris, two sisters, Lena Scott & husband Harold of Paris and Louise Stotts of Roxton, her loving family, Michael & Marlo Scott of Rowlett & their daughter Mallory, Marty & Holly Scott of Paris and their children, Kimberlyn & Kameron, Danny & Jenny Stotts of Mt. Vernon and their children, Emily, David and Daniel & his wife Veronica, Ronnie & Pam Stotts of Paris and their children, Ronnie Ray & Misty, and Terry & Laurie Stotts of Arlington and children, Leslie and Amy & her husband Corey, along with a host of friends.
Casket bearers will be nephews & grand nephews: David Stotts, Ronnie Stotts, Terry Stotts, Marty Scott, Michael Scott and Daniel Stotts. Honorary bearers will be: Ronnie Ray Stotts and Kameron Scott.
