After Friday’s storms led to a very cool weekend for late July, meteorologists predict partly cloudy and sunny skies with high temperatures for northeast Texas during the coming week.

The highest temperature observed over the weekend was around ninety degrees on Sunday afternoon, according to Weather.com. However, due to the cooling effect of Friday’s storms, Saturday and Sunday were spent mostly in the eighties.
In contrast, the coming week has predicted highs in the upper nineties Tuesday through Friday, after the high Monday is forecast to be 95 degrees.
Friday has a high temperature forecast at 99 degrees — the highest for the week. The skies look to be clear all week and throughout the weekend with little chance of precipitation.
The next forecast showers are predicted for next Tuesday at a 40 percent chance. This forecast could change.
