William Edward “Eddy” Griffis, 56, of Paris passed away Friday August 9, 2013 in Paris.
He was born on April 10, 1957 in Dallas the son of Billy Ed and Sally Webb Griffis. He was a concrete finisher.
Survivors include his father and step-mother Mr. & Mrs. Billy Ed Griffis; children Raymond Griffis, Michelle Griffis, and Katharine Griffis; grandson William Griffis; aunts Bettie Cornevin and Sterling Wilson and sons Tim Bolton and Mark Bolton, Margaret Sampler and Pat Hunt and sons Roger Hunt, Richard Hunt, and Bruce Hunt. He was preceded in death by his mother Sally Griffis in 2010.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Monday, August 12, 2013 in Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. Glynn Vickers officiating. Services are under the direction of the Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home where online condolences may be sent by visiting www.fry-gibbs.com.
