Scan0001aRuth Marie Mueller went to be with the Lord on March 6 2013. She was born in Dallas Texas in 1926 to Leo and Bessie Houck. Mom enjoyed spending time with family and friends and her door was always open. She loved gardening and actively participating in events with her children and grandchildren – from Girl Scouts to Little League. She is preceded in death by her husband Maj. John J. Mueller (Ret) and is survived by her children: daughter Karrell Staton (Joe), daughter Mary Ann Franklin (Rickey), son John Mueller II, daughter Jan Marquez, and daughter Laura Mueller (Robert Mann).

She also leaves behind many beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren: grandsons Russell Gamble (Rachael) and John David Pate II, granddaughters Tera Pate, Alenia Huellemann (Ralph), Karrell Chambless (Steven), Alicia Pruitt (Richard), and Scarlett Mueller, great grandchildren, James, Maleena, Joseph, Jacob, Anna, Kaitlyn, Kameron, and Simon.

She is also survived by three sisters, Vivian Huff, Joanne West and Lorabelle Zercher, and many nieces and nephews.

Services are under the direction of Bright-Holland Funeral Home. Burial will be made in Barancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, FL.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to: Gideons International, % Mrs. Edgar Ground, 875 SE 39th St., Paris, TX  75462.

Beauron W. Fields, 85 of Paris, passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at Stillhouse Rehabilitation and Healthcare.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home.  Burial of ashes will take place at a later date.

He was a member of Cannanland Church of God.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Geneva Fields; sons, Charles Warren Fields and companion Judy Anderson, Rickey Don Fields and wife Mary Ann; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Charles Warren Fields, Rayford Fields.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Connie Kerr Fields; several brothers and sisters.

The family wants to give a special thanks to Dr’s Trammell, McLemore and Tijerina; also, a special thanks to Stillhouse Rehab and Healthcare and Hospice Plus for all of their care and kindness.

We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. — 2 Corinthians 5:8
